He is sooo GOOD as Marshall in How I Met Your Mother. In the HIMYM goofers, he is always laughing. In real life, he just seems so genuine and he also contributes to funny script writing. To be a talented actor and creative writer is really cool. He has a nice singing voice, as far as I can tell. I also like that he had only one long term relationship in the spotlight and didn’t serial date like other fickle but handsome actors.
Met her at a book signing, late 90s, in the western suburbs of Chicago. Wish I had something more brilliant to say to her, rather than “I love your writing!”
He’s just so crushworthy in that slightly awkward, dorky way! :) As a celeb, he seems unassuming and someone you could totally be pals with. I’d gladly go on a double date with my boyfriend, him and his girlfriend.
Nichole is an awesome skiier. Alas, I have not been graced by her presence for about a decade, but I do remember that she was sincere, kind, and thoughtful. I hope she will come visit me one day in NYC, as I would love to visit her in Canada.
Jessica T. is the bestest. We were grade school buddies, she was full of energy, and she’s fun to chat with now. Can’t wait to see you back in Chicago and go partaaaaay.

Talk about lovely and accomplished! Ms. Sarah E. has a fantastic character and an extremely successful person, both socially and academically. I can’t wait to see her rock the professional business world :) I have always appreciated her supportiveness, and she’s a great motivator.
Her acting was superb in Big Fish and Matchstick Men. Plus, she’s older but USUALLY gets mistaken for younger (I always have that happen to me, so man, can I relate!)
I used to listen to Loveline on Q101, a Chicago based station and what made the show was Dr. Drew. He was the voice of reason, and calmed down Adam Carolla when he got obnoxious.
And let’s face it, he has a sexy voice. I know he’s married, but I have a crush on him because he seems very wise, and he probably is my oldest crush too! Get advice on intimacy from Dr. Drew Pinsky? Okay, any day!!!
I always knew the frantic pace of Manhattan was not in line with Beth’s pondering, thoughtful style. For all of us that ever get tired of the clammoring grind, she’s a hero. Because she quit her job working for a big publishing mega giant to going back to a more relaxed, down-to-earth city and working for a smaller publishing company – that, as far as I’m concerned – probably publishes more innovative stuff.
Even though we will probably be living in different states for years to come, I look forward to reading her writing and hearing about her updates. Beth is a friend you can go ages without seeing, but she’ll still “remember” you and truly care what you are up to.
